Education for Equity (Social, Linguistic and Cultural Inclusion) is a Transnational project between Sweden, Germany and the UK.
Three partner organisations submitted a bid to the EU and were granted funding to collaborate and explore innovative strategies to encourage young people to remain in education and training for longer periods.
The 3 partner organisations are:
- Alt Valley Community Trust (Social Business in Liverpool)
- BildungsWerk in Kreuzberg(A Training Organisation in Berlin)
- FBA (Centre for Professional Development and Internationalisation at Uppsala University Sweden)
From September 2014 until August 2017 we will research why young people become NEET (not in education, employment or training) and identify best practice for professionals to follow. Further details relating to this International project are available from Alma Mason
We are in the process of finalising this collaborative project with our partners in Sweden and Germany. The three years have simply ‘flown by’ and we are really pleased with the final outcomes! For Further reading please visit the ‘Education for Equity’ website.
