They say everyone has a book inside them so what are you waiting for… Come and join us on our creative journey…You will read, look and listen to lots of different picture books and garner ideas for your own picture book (that’s if you haven’t already got an idea) We will look at different writing techniques used in picture books and draw from those techniques to create our own picture book! Then we’ll move onto illustrations! What illustrations would you like to use to accompany your picture book? Our motto is … If you can pick up a pencil or a paintbrush than you can draw! and if you are still saying I can’t draw for toffee we’d say… You could use your children’s or grandchildren’s drawings, use collage or take photographs for your picture book, all you need is your imagination! So what are you waiting for! Come and join us at Croxteth park farm to begin your creative journey

As said by Julia Donaldson (Children’s Laureate 2011-2013) “Picture books can entertain, they can teach, they can bring families together”
