This Nail course is structured to introduce students to the basic understanding and practical skills they need to start a career in the nail and beauty industry. Students will learn about the different possible career pathways in the industry, the skills and qualifications needed for each role, and how to progress in their chosen career.

Students will also have the opportunity to develop their communication skills and learn how to conduct themselves professionally when dealing with clients and other colleagues in a salon working environment

This course is FREE for those aged 19+, subject to eligibility

On completion of the course, you will be able to confidently navigate the nail industry, create a professional online presence, and effectively pursue your career goals in this dynamic field.

Course Content:

  • Introduction to the course and the Nail industry. Including career pathways and goals
  • Health and safety in relation to the nail industry
  • Client care and how to communicate
  • Nail product and brand recommendations
  • Nail art methods and techniques including gel polish
  • Nail enhancements including Acrylic (Liquid and powder), maintenance and aftercare

Promoting of products and services offered in the nail industry. How to build a strong clientele base and maintain a professional reputation.
