A huge thank you to everyone including Ian Byrne MP, Marie Lyon (Chair of ACDHPT) and Professor Helen Stalford who attended the Candour and Communities touring exhibition held at our Dovecot MAC Hub last week. The exhibition by the Centre for People’s Justice, explores 15 major UK disasters and scandals over the last century—including Aberfan, Hillsborough, and the Primodos scandal—to highlight institutional cover-ups and advocate for a “Hillsborough Law” which imposes duties on everyone who works for the public services, institutions and public authorities to act with candour, transparency and frankness.
