Our Advanced sewing course is designed to give students the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in sewing, gaining skills and qualification needed for the role and how to progress in future career. Students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in different fabrics, cottons and others types of machines and theirs functions. The students will be able to expand their learning of following measurements, instructions and listening skills.
be aged 19+, unemployed, or earning less than £35,864 and a resident in the UK.
This course is not funded for those in the UK on a Student Visa.
Course Overview
To succeed in this course industry, you should have or be prepared to develop the following skills:
- Basic knowledge in sewing: you will be able and feel comfortable to use and handle a sewing machine without support.
- Willing to learn: A desire to learn and adapt for new challenges.
- Communication skills: Effective communication is vital in this industry both written and verbal,
- Teamwork: Being a team player is essential to succeed in this course.
- Time Management: The ability to manage your time efficiently, meet the deadline and welling to keep your commitment in this course
